Track 2: Novel Drug Delivery Systems

Drug delivery denotes to methods, preparations, skills, and structures for transferring a drug composite in the body as needed to safely achieve its preferred therapeutic efficacy. It may include methodical site-targeting inside the body, or it might involve enabling systemic Pharmacokinetics. Drug delivery skills amend drug release profile, absorption, distribution and elimination for the advantage of refining product effectiveness and safety, as well as patient suitability and compliance. This conference of Global Pharma Congress is going to mainly show the challenges in attainment of the novel drug delivery systems. These strategies sometimes may be in vivosystems like the Red blood cells also which are called as Resealed Erythrocytes or certain types of lipids as carriers which constitute the Liposomes, Niosomes, Nanoparticles, Nanospheres, Resealed Erythrocytes, Ethosomes etc., even the proteins and nucleotides may be used as potential carriers for molecular drug design. The route of drug delivery also concern as the Oral DDS< Parenteral DDS in relation to the absorption rate and to the degree the targeted devices also play a significant role in gaining more drug to site of action.

Track 3: Pharma Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology as determined by size is in a extensive logic, including grounds of science as different as outward science, micro fabrication. The associated examination and demonstrations are similarly varied, changing from extensions of conventional device physics to completely new approaches based upon molecular self-assembly, from growing innovative materials with dimensions on the Nano scale to direct control of substance on atomic scale implied by extreme reduction of particle size and collective area uncovered. Bio computing is the structure and use of computers that functions like living things or having biological components such as DNA. Bio computing is also used in bioinformatics to promote the biological research. Bio computing and biochemical pharmacology which uses biologically derived molecules such as Proteins and DNA. These are applied for computational calculations like storing data and therefore biocomputing is a part of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology also includes bio nanotechnology.  It is a branch of nanotechnology which uses biological resources or in biotechnology.

Track 4: Clinical Pharmacy

Good Clinical Practice is a set of procedures for biomedical studies which encompasses the design, conduct, termination, audit, analysis, reporting and documentation of the studies involving human subjects. It aims to confirm that the studies are systematically and virtuously sound and that the clinical properties of thepharmaceutical substances under investigation are properly documented. The guidelines seek to establish two cardinal principles: protection of the rights of human subjects. Clinical Therapeutics is dedicated to the dissemination of consistent and evolving evidence regarding therapeutics to an international audience of scientists and clinicians working in a diversity of research, academic, and clinical practice settings. This goal is especially important in an era of harmonization and globalization of drug improvement and genuineness ofbiomedical data generated. Randomised Clinical Trials are often used to test the efficacy or effectiveness of numerous types of medical drug interference and may provide info about adverse effects, such as drug reactions. Random assignment of intervention is done after subjects have been assessed for suitability and recruited, but before the intervention to be studied begins.

Track7: Pharmacy Practice

Pharmacy practice is the discipline of pharmacy which involves developing the professional roles of pharmacists. A drug interaction is a situation in which a substance (usually another drug) affects the activity of a drug when both are administered together. This action can be synergistic (when the drug's effect is increased) or antagonistic (when the drug's effect is decreased) or a new effect can be produced that neither produces on its own. Typically, interactions between drugs come to mind (drug-drug interaction). Drug addiction is a complex disease, and quitting takes more than good intentions or a strong will. In fact, because drugs change the brain in ways that foster compulsive drug abuse, quitting is difficult, even for those who are ready to do so. Therefore, drug stability and drug safety databases are also considered as key processes in clinical pharmacy.

Track 09: Industrial Pharmacy

Pharmaceutical companies are engaged in the discovery, design, manufacturing, and marketing of legal drugs, biologics (viruses, toxins, serums, and analogous products), vaccines, and medical devices such as pacemakers and prosthetics. Products are made for both humans and animals. Drug discovery and development are important for any pharmaceutical industry to build up its economy. New molecules with new techniques of preparation at economical grade without compromising with quality is a major task to R&D. Various Clinical trials are to be done in different phases on animals, healthy and patient volunteers so as to estimate the suitability of the product formulation before it gets release to the market. Even after the formulation is released the Post marketing surveillance should be done to analyse the long term effects.

Track 10: Regulatory Authorities

Harmonisation achievements in the Quality area include pivotal milestones such as the conduct of stability studies, defining relevant thresholds for impurities testing and a more flexible approach to pharmaceutical quality based on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) risk management. Intellectual property rights (IPR) have been defined as ideas, inventions, and creative expressions based on which there is a public willingness to bestow the status of property. IPR provide certain exclusive rights to the inventors or creators of that property, in order to enable them to reap commercial benefits from their creative efforts or reputation. There are several types of intellectual property protection like patent, copyright, trademark, etc. has Pharmaceutical Ethics concentrate on the promotion of medicine, which entails the regulations over many areas of the promotion of medicine. These include events and hospitality that can be extended by a pharmaceutical company.

Track 11 :Bio and Chemoinformatics

Bioinformatics plays key role in experimental molecular biology as image and signal processing allow extraction of useful results from large amounts of raw data. In the field of genetics and genomics, it aids in sequencing and annotating genomes and their observed mutations, in the text mining of biological literature and the development of biological and gene ontologies to organize and query biological data, in the analysis of gene and protein expression and regulation. Bioinformatics tools aid in the comparison of genetic and genomic data and more generally in the understanding of evolutionary aspects of molecular biology.

Chemoinformatics is a relatively new discipline, it has emerged from several older disciplines such as computational chemistry, computer chemistry, chemometrics, QSAR, chemical information, medicinalbiochemistry etc. Cheminformatics involves the use of computer technologies to process chemical data. Advent of high throughput screening (HTS), automated techniques have made possible robotized screening. In response to the increased demand for new compounds by biologists, chemists started using combinatorial chemical technologies to produce more new compounds in shorter periods. Another challenge faced by this new field was to establish clear relationships between structural patterns and activities or properties, chemoinformatics should be able to extract knowledge from large-scale raw HTS databases in a shorter time periods, chemoinformatics should be able to provide efficient in silico tools to predict ADMET properties. One of the earliest chemoinformatics studies involved chemical structure representations, such as structural descriptors. Pharmaceutical Society of Australia; The Pharmacy Guild of Australia; The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia;Canadian Pharmacists Association;Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists;Chinese Pharmaceutical Association

Track 12: Market analysis and Business Opputunity

According to IMS Health Consulting, an international research company, in 2012 the size of the global pharmaceutical market reached $940 billion. In monetary terms it grew by 6%. In the future the sector is expected to grow at no less than 3% to 4% a year and if this happens the global pharmaceutical market is expected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2015 and will reach $1.2 trillion in 2016 and up to $1.5 trillion by 2020. The global demographic, epidemiological and economic changes are transforming the pharmaceutical market. The world population is growing rapidly and is projected to rise from 7 billion in 2011 to 7.7 billion in 2020 and 9.6 billion in 2050, hence an increase in the demand for pharmaceuticals. The ageing process also affects the demand. By 2020 about 9.4% of the world population (719.4 million people) will be 65 or above, compared with 7.3% (477.4 million) in 2005 (UN, 2013). Clinical advances reinforce this trend. The improvements of the past few decades have already converted some previously terminal illnesses into chronic conditions, thus increasing long-term demand for pharmacotherapeutics to manage these diseases. Spending on medicines will reach nearly $1,100Bn in 2015, reflecting a slowing growth rate of 3-6% over the five year period compared to 6.2% annual growth over the past five years. Absolute global spending growth is expected to be $210-240Bn, compared to $251Bn since m2005.
